Hello a freshman!
On September 25, 2019 the Republican action of the Federation of the Trade Unions of Belarus ” Hello, freshman!”took place in the Academy. The event was organized by the primary Trade Union organization of students of the Academy together with the Vitebsk Regional Association of Trade unions and the Vitebsk Regional Committee of the Yrade Union of Agricultural workers.
As part of the campaign, first-year students received their Union membership cards, and participated in a tour to the exhibition center “Dukhovskoy Kruglik” organized for them.
At the very beginning of the event, the Rector of the Academy, Doctor of Agricultural Sciences, Associate Professor Mikalai Ivanovich Нaurichenka welcomed the audience and noted the solemnity of the situation.
From the hands of the trade Union leaders: the Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Association of Trade Unions Ivan Konstantinovich Vozmitel and the Deputy Chairman of the Vitebsk Regional Committee of the Trade Union of Agricultural Workers Margarita Mikhailovna Ivanchenko-each freshman received his/her membership card, thereby becoming a new member of the Trade Union of Agricultural Workers.
The Chairman of the Primary Trade Union organization of students Maxim Vladimirovich Kornienko addressed the new members of the Trade Union with the encouraging word, and a 3rd year student of the Faculty of Biotechnology Eduard Ryabukha wished each freshman to be active not only in sciences or sports, but also in social activities, thus continuing the glorious traditions of the trade Union at the Academy.
Surprisingly so, together with the Trade Union card, each student received a bar of chocolate named “Profsoyzny”, and a 1 year student Ekaterina Balush wished that students’ life with the trade Union Committee at the Academy was as sweet as the chocolate.
On behalf of the Trade Union of students of the Academy I would like to wish all students who have received their new Trade Union cards, to follow the way to a personal dream, to overcome all obstacles on the way and to remember that the primary Trade Union organization of students is here to help you. It is important that you are with us!
