THE FIRST BELARUSIAN-UZBEK SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE
On the basis of the Academy, as part of celebration of the 95th anniversary, on October 31, the opening of the International scientific and practical conference dedicated to the memory of Professor D. H. Narziev “Modern problems and prospects of research in animal anatomy and histology”was held. The Organizing Committee of the conference is represented by rectors and scientists of the Vitebsk state Academy of Veterinary Medicine and The Samarkand Institute of Veterinary medicine.
Narziev Dali Hudoyberdiyevich, Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, Professor, Honored Worker of Agriculture of the Uzbek SSR. He was born on March 10, 1926 in the Samarkand region. Childhood fell on the years of the Great Patriotic war. Despite all the difficulties and hardships of the war years, he sought to study well at school and showed an interest in natural subjects, which was the basis for admission in 1944 to the veterinary faculty of the Samarkand Agricultural Institute. During his studies at the Institute he showed himself in his studies and social activities, for a number of years he headed the student trade Union Committee of the Institute. Despite the difficulties of the post-war years, he actively participated in the work of student scientific circles. He was particularly attracted by the anatomy of farm animals. After graduating from the Institute in 1949, in order to be involved in training of the national staff, he was left at the Department of normal animal anatomy as an assistant. In 1958 he successfully defended his thesis “Macro-micro anatomy of glands of internal secretion of Karakul sheep and Uzbek goats” and received the degree of candidate of biological Sciences (supervisor-Professor, histologist A. I. Akaevski). In the same year he was elected to the position of an Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Normal Anatomy, which he headed for 30 years. He wrote and published in 1970 the first textbook in the Uzbek language “Khayvonlar anatomiyasi” (anatomy of animals), which included the anatomy of the Karakul sheep. Doctoral dissertation “Postnatal ontogenesis of skeleton and limb muscles of rhe Karakul sheep” (scientific consultant-Professor A. I. Akayevski) was successfully defended in 1974 at the meeting of the scientific Council of Yerevan zooveterinary Institute. In 1975 he received the academic title of Professor. Under his scientific supervision, 6 PhD theses were defended, more than 100 scientific and methodological works were published. Professor D. H. Narziev and his students devoted their research work to the anatomy of the Karakul sheep. For many years of work Professor D. H. Narziyev was awarded the medal “Veteran of Labor”, the badge “excellent student of higher school”, and he was awarded the title “Honored Worker of Agriculture of Uzbekistan”.

Welcoming and congratulatory words addressed to the Organizing Committee and participants of the conference were heard from the Adviser of the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the Republic of Belarus Abidov D. T., who showed a great interest in this International scientific and practical conference.

Sechenov”, Lugansk National Agrarian University, FKUZ “Anti-Plague center of Rospotrebnadzor”, Institute of Pig Breeding and Agro-industrial production of the NAAS of Ukraine,FGBOU HE “Altai State University”, GBUZ ” Research Institute of the Urgent Aid named after N. V. Sklifosovsky, Moscow”.
The organizing Committee of the conference noted the originality of the research presented by the participants, a wide range of topics discussed, the ability of the speakers to lead the discussion. All reports aroused keen interest and active discussion. As a result, each participant of the conference was able to see different ways to continue their research, as well as voice their opinions, share knowledge and experience in the field of morphology.
Following the results of the first Belarusian-Uzbek scientific conference, a collection of materials in three directions was published: animal anatomy; histology and embryology; experimental morphology. The collection includes works of scientists-morphologists of the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Russian Federation and Ukraine.
All participants of the conference were awarded certificates, conference materials and Souvenirs.
In addition to the traditional plenary sessions, business meetings, excursions were held around the museums of the departments of the Academy and excursions that introduced the guests of the conference to the culture of Vitebsk. A cultural and historical program with a visit to the Mir castle and Nesvizh castle was organized for the Uzbek delegation from the Samarkand Institute of Veterinary Medicine.
The participants of the International scientific-practical conference dedicated to the memory of Professor D. H. Narziev,” Modern problems and prospects of research in animal anatomy and histology ” stressed the need to create a permanent contact between interested audience, especially scientists of Belarus and Uzbekistan, and further joint work in this direction.
