Training of students from the Ryazan State Agrotechnological University at the Academy
From 11 to 16 November at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine the internship for students from the Ryazan State Agrotechnological University named after P. A. Kostychev was held.
During the five days of stay at the Academy, students of the Russian University participated in lectures and tutorials of leading lecturers, visited museums and Departments ( museum of the History of the Academy, museum of Animal Anatomy, Parasitology and Invasive Diseases, the terrarium of the Department of Zoology).
Russian students have had practical trainings in veterinary clinics of the Departments for Internal non-Infectious Diseases of Animals, Surgery, Parasitology and Epizootology. Under the guidance of the Vice-rector for Academic Affairs Dr.Zhurba V.A the trainees participated in surgical operations at the Department of General and Specialized Surgery.
Students showed special interest when visiting the Research Institute of Applied Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology of the Academy.
On November 14 there was organized a trip for students from Ryazan to the “Mazolovogaz”agricultural enterprize, where they got acquainted with the advanced technologies of animal husbandry and the work of the veterinary service .
As a final act, the Vice-rector for Academic Affairs Zhurba V. A. presented valuable gifts in the form of books and certificates, both to students personally and to the library of the Ryazan State Agrotechnological University named after P. A. Kostychev.
According to the trainees, they liked the training a lot and they highly appreciated the level of education and quality of educational services at the Academy and in the Republic as a whole.The request came to be invited again next year.
