ITALIAN GUESTS AT THE ACADEMY
November 21, 2019 Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine was visited by the delegation from Italy, consisting of our long-time friends-Dr. Stefan Adami, head of the State Veterinary Service of Verona, and Massimo Platini, head of International Agricultural Programs in Italy. The delegation also included a representative of the Italian Embassy in the Republic of Belarus, responsible for education and cultural relations. The meeting was held with the leadership of the Academy, where they discussed the prospects for cooperation in various areas and through different projects: Erasmus+, BRIDGE, twinning, as well as with funding from the government of Italy. The foreign guests handed over a letter of intent of cooperation, which indicated the possibility at the current stage to take 1 student for a period of up to 15 days to get acquainted with the experience of the state veterinary service in the province of Verona.
The parties agreed to intensify the preparation of project documentation for cooperation and grant applications.
