Lebanon Independence Fay
On November 22, Lebanon celebrated its one of the most important national holidays — Independence Day (Lebanese Independence Day). This day was a festive and at the same time a memorable date in honor of the liberation of the country from the French mandate, exercised over Lebanese lands for more than 23 years.
Independence Day celebrations were taking place across the country, but the capital of the country Beirut was especially crowded on this day, where a large military parade was taking place. The streets were busy, with hundreds of red, green and white balloons rising into the sky after the parade. In the evening there were fireworks, dance shows and concert performances of artists and military men.
The President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko congratulated the President of Lebanon Michel Naim Aoun and the people of this country on the Independence Day, as the press service of the President reported.
“I am convinced that our States have a significant potential for bilateral cooperation in the political, trade and economic spheres. By joint efforts, we will be able to significantly intensify cooperation for the benefit of both peoples, ” the message reads.
Within the walls of our Academy for the first time there was held a cultural and educational event dedicated to the Independence Day of Lebanon. Lebanese students in the house of culture of the Academy prepared a video and presentation about their country and the exposition of national cuisine.
Haurychenka M. I., the Rector of the Academy, Zhurba V. A., Vice -rector for Academic Affairs, Fedotov D. N. Dean of the Faculty for International Affairs, Maksimovich V. V., Professor of the Department of Epizootology came to congratulate Lebanese students on their national holiday – Independence Day of Lebanon.
The administration of the Academy congratulates all Lebanese students on the holiday, and wishes the people of Lebanon peace and prosperity.
