The Academy championship on powerlifting among students
On February 20, in the sports complex of the Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine, the Academy Powerlifting Championship among students was held, dedicated to the Day of Defenders of the Fatherland for prizes of the Primary Trade Union Organization of students. Three exercises were included in the competition: bench press, squats with a barbell, deadlift. All participants of the competition showed high results. In the exercise ‘deadlifts’ the record of the Academy was beaten by Andrew Rublevsky.
According to the results of the Championship, the places were distributed as follows:
I place – Andrey Rublevsky (3rd year , group 1, BTF ZOO SSPVO);
II place-Vadim Yarmolovich (3rd year, group 1, of BTF ZOO SSPVO);
III place-Alexey Mikulovich (4th year, of the group 3, of BTF VSE).
The Sports Club and the Primary Trade Union organization of students congratulate the winners of the championship and wish not to stop there, conquering new sports peaks!
