Scientific conference dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory
On may 28-29, 2020, the Academy hosted the international scientific and practical conference of students and undergraduates “We remember – inheritors of the Victory”, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic war.
Participants of the conference – students, undergraduates and students of universities and colleges from Belarus, Russia and Uzbekistan – presented more than forty reports, united in several thematic groups.
First of all, these materials are devoted to the activities of civil and military bodies and institutions of the country, including military veterinary ones, aimed at organizing and directing the country’s defense. Thus, the report of N. Zhurayeva (Samarkand) considers the medical and sanitary provision of orphaned children evacuated to Uzbekistan, the activities of veterinary and sanitary surveilance during the war is devoted to the article of A. R. Pavlova from Vitebsk, the the work of I. V. Smolsky (Vitebsk) was devoted to the issues of veterinary therapy as a clinical direction during the Great Patriotic war, and the article of Lukashevich (Vitebsk) was dedicated to the history of logistics development in the USSR in the pre-war and war years.
Belarus is a partisan Republic, so the conference participants paid much attention to the feat of Belarusian partisans and underground workers. Thus, in the articles authored by A.D. Yankovich, E. A. Dudal, M. A. Reutenko, A. I. Litvinchuk, the feat of partisans from the Ushachi district and heroes of the Vitebsk underground (S. A. Podshivalov) was shown in all its greatness.
The authors of the reports did not ignore the topic of man at war, which was revealed in two aspects: as a life story lived in a difficult, tragic and at the same time heroic time (reports by A. S. Dergunov, O. A. Kostyukevich, K. Purro, V. V. Shalakhov), and as a history of heroism, self-sacrifice, heroism (V. S. Bubnov, N. A. Gorsky, K. S. Kruchinina, N. P. Surovtsev, K. A. Sidorakina, Ilkham Togaev and others).
The reports presented at the conference reflected the environmental consequences of the Second world war (V. R. Geiko), its social and pedagogical aspects, including military-pedagogical (A. Khodzhaev, K. A. Chistyukhin, D. A. Kokorina), international (F. S. Baranovsky, E. I. Vinnik) and bioethical aspects (D. D. Kravchenko).
Preserving the memory of the victims and heroes of the great Patriotic war is reflected in the works of E. A. Gapova, A. p. Ivanov, A.V. Klimenok, S. M. Shcherbovich and others.
