“Academy: history in persons ( the departments bear their names)”, the library quest
On the Academy Day, the library hosted the quest “Academy: history in persons (departments are named after them)”. The participants of the quest were first-year students of group 17 of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (tutor Yuri Borodin, assistant of the Department of Parasitology and Invasive Animal Diseases).
The students learned about the outstanding scientists of the Academy, got acquainted with their scientific works, and tried to answer the questions of the quest. Students had the opportunity to visit the hall of rare books and get acquainted with the book exhibition dedicated to the 145th anniversary of the birth of the first Rector of the Belarusian State Veterinary Institute – Yevgeny Filippovich Alonov.
