Visit of a foreign delegation from India
On April 27, 2022, Purnima Chauhan, curator of the EKLAVYA OVERSEAS program, whose mission is to realize the opportunity for Indian citizens to receive higher education abroad, paid an official visit to the Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine.
As part of the visit program, a business meeting was held with the administration and teachers of the university within the walls of the Academy.
The guest was welcomed by the rector of the Academy Nikolay Ivanovich Gavrichenko, who familiarized the foreign delegate in detail with the history and structure of the Academy, the organization of the educational process, the system of higher agricultural education of the Republic of Belarus as a whole.
The sides exchanged views on issues of prospective cooperation and discussed all topical issues regarding the admission of foreign citizens to the academy, as well as the recognition of Belarusian diplomas of higher veterinary education abroad.
Accompanied by the Dean of the Faculty of International Relations, Career Guidance and Pre-university Training Solovyov Alexander Vasilyevich and senior lecturer of the Department of Foreign Languages Kartunova Alla Ilyinichna, a sightseeing tour of museums, departments and clinics of the Academy, social infrastructure facilities was organized for the foreign guest, and the opportunity was also presented to plunge into the educational process by visiting laboratory and practical classes.
During the whole excursion tour, Purnima Chauhan did not let the video camera out of her hands, trying to capture every moment of her stay on the campus of the Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine in order to show Indian children and their parents in detail all the conditions created in our academy for higher education upon returning to her homeland.
