KINDNESS WILL SAVE THE WORLD
The shelter for homeless animals is the refuge for homeless, lost or abandoned animals, mainly dogs and cats. Shelters save and treat homeless animals, socialize animals and give them a chance to find home.
The Vitebsk shelter for homeless animals is a state-owned shelter in Belarus that plays a huge role in bringing us closer to international standards of treatment of animals. Here, each animal is given a temporary shelter, medical care and experience with people, and then find new caring owners. Volunteers, kind and careful people from all over the city help the shelter with everything they can. The students of our academy decided to support this wonderful idea.
October 27, 2023 the third year students of FVM RTE 5 group together with curator Krasovskaya Ya. visited the shelter «Dobrik» in Vitebsk. Students talked with veterinarian Tereshkov E.I., who conducted a tour and told the students about the work of the shelter.
Not everyone is able to help animals themselves, so shelters provide assistance in many different ways (funding shelters, walking dogs, buying food, promoting information on social networks, etc.).
For animals to find a man, a loving family, care is a good luck. To take a pet from the shelter, look at photos and descriptions on the web-site, or better come to choose an animal. Every animal should have a chance to find a happy and caring family.
