THE HOLIDAY IS COMING!
On the eve of the Christmas and New Year holidays on December 20, the Department of Foreign Languages held an event that has already become a tradition – Christmas International. Its participants were teachers of the department and students of the 1st course FVM, 2 courses BTF, as well as foreign students of the preparatory department.
The event was opened by the dean of the Faculty of International Relations, Vocational Guidance and Pre-university Training A.V. Solovyov, who congratulated all present on the upcoming holidays and wished everyone good health and well-being.
This year we made a fascinating trip to countries and continents and learned about the New Year and Christmas traditions of Belarus, Russia, Great Britain, Germany and Venezuela. Presentations were made by students of the 1st course of FVM Grishchenko Natalia (5 gr.), Pavlov Dmitry and Ilyina Elizaveta (18 gr.), Ronchko Nikita and Mikhalkovich Anna (23 gr.), Babkunova Violetta (24 gr.), student of the 2nd course of BTF from Venezuela Davila Kolmenares Zaidis Khose. And although the messages sounded in different languages (Belarusian, Russian, English, German), their content was clear to everyone.
The highlight of the festive event was the performance of the student of the preparatory department from China Meng Anjao, who emotionally and cheerfully told about the celebration of the New Year in her country, the Chinese calendar, as well as the Dragon – the symbol of the coming year.
A real outrage made the presence of grandfather Frost and Snow Maiden , who held not only a fascinating New Year’s quiz, but also handed out sweet prizes to the most active participants.
The event ended with a small master class on making Christmas tree decorations – paper angels, who, according to the belief, are ambassadors of light, goodness and beauty, and bring good luck.
The Department of Foreign Languages thanks teachers and students for active participation in the preparation and holding of the holiday, for the fabulous atmosphere, and also congratulates all the staff of the Academy on the coming Christmas and New Year!
