«Open Microphone with the President»
at Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov
September 2, 2024 the President of the Republic of Belarus A.G. Lukashenko took part in the event «Open microphone with the President» with students of universities of the Vitebsk region, in which students and staff of VSAVM headed by the Rector N. I. Gavricenko took an active part.
Before the event began, the Head of State took a look at the exhibition of scientific results of the universities of the Vitebsk region, where the stand of VSAVM was also presented. N. I. Gavrichenko presented the development of scientists of the Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine to A. G. Lukashenko, outlining the structure of training specialists, information about the admission campaign, key achievements of the university in the field of scientific and innovative activities, as well as in the field of ideological and educational work.
The President congratulated students, undergraduates and graduate students on Knowledge Day. He wished this school year to be exciting, full of new discoveries, positive emotions, and joy of meeting interesting people.
The head of state spoke about the current situation in education and the situation around Belarus, answered questions of young people in the format «Open microphone». In the dialogue, the President noted that it is the current young generation who will have to build the future of the country.
At the end of the meeting, all student youth of Vitebsk region presented to the President as a gift chess sets from a handmade oak massif that symbolize the history of Pridvinya.
