THE CONFERENCE DEDICATED TO VITEBSK AND VITEBSK REGION WAS HELD AT THE ACADEMY
On March 26, 2021 The Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine hosted an international scientific and practical conference of students and postgraduates “Vitebsk Region in History and Culture, Natural Science and Economics”, co-founded by the educational institution “Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine”, the Department of Culture of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, the Vitebsk Regional Committee of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, the Vitebsk City Council of Deputies and the Primary organization of the ROO “Belaya Rus” EE VSAVM.
Such a solid composition of the founders is simply explained – the conference is multidisciplinary, it reflects the main aspects of the life and development of the Vitebsk region.
Addressing the participants of the conference, the Rector of the Academy Mikalai Ivanavich Haurychenka noted that this scientific forum is dedicated to the heroic and tragic pages of history, achievements in culture, education, sports, economy, hardworking and famous people of the Vitebsk Region as a tribute to their work and heroism.
Mikalai Ivanavich stressed that teachers and students of the Academy traditionally participate in many cultural and sports events of the Republic and the Vitebsk region not only as spectators, but also as full participants.
The conference participants were addressed by the Vice-Rector of the EE VSAVM Alexander Belko, who wished fruitful work and read out the welcome addresses from the co-founders of the conference-the Department of Culture of the Vitebsk Regional Executive Committee, the Vitebsk Regional Committee of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, the Vitebsk City Council of Deputies.
The young participants were also addressed by the head of the Primary Organization “Belaya Rus” of the EE VSAVM, Alexander Vasilyevich Solovyov. He said that this scientific forum is a good evidence that our students and postgraduates s are not indifferent to the issues of citizenship and patriotism, as evidenced by the topics discussed in the reports of young researchers.
The conference gathered more than fifty participants from Belarus, Russia and Ukraine. Their reports were presented in four sections: history and culture, education, science and sports, economy and agriculture, natural science and ecology.
All aspiring scientists who submitted their works for participation in the conference, in addition to the oral gratitude of the organizers, were awarded certificates of participants.
