PARTICIPATION OF STUDENTS OF THE ACADEMY IN THE CITY ACTION
«BETWEEN US… OR A FRANK CONVERSATION ABOUT HIV»
In our country, the State Program «Health of the people and demographic security of the Republic of Belarus», the subprogramme «Prevention of HIV infection» for 2021-2025 is being implemented.
In accordance with the plan for the preparation and implementation of the activities of the subprogramme in the Republic of Belarus, dedicated to the World AIDS Day, the action «Centre of Culture «Vitebsk» was held in the auditorium of the SE «Vitebsk… or a frank conversation about HIV», organized by the Department of HIV-infection prevention and SE «Vitebsk regional center of hygiene, epidemiology and public health». Within the framework of this action there was a forum-performance with the same name of the youth theater «Koleso» SE «Culture Center «Vitebsk», as well as counselling and rapid testing for HIV.
The second-year students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and the Faculty of Biotechnology took an active part in the forum play, discussing and proposing ways to solve the problem.
